Maren’s Newborn Session | Conway Newborn Photographer | Little Rock Newborn Photographer

Oh miss, Maren Laine. She was such a dream baby for her newborn session in Conway.

Kristen and her husband Mac contacted me about doing a newborn session for their sweet little girl. She was born in May and by the time we did her session, I was 37 weeks pregnant with my own baby! That in itself makes it tough but Maren made it easy for me. Her parents said they are big into nature. When Kristen was pregnant, they called her their little rabbit because of her kicking her mom’s belly. I love hearing these stories so that I can incorporate some of that into the session. I had the perfect little rabbit bonnet and a tree stump prop so we made her a “real” little rabbit for her mom.

During a session, we take breaks to feed baby and help them get nice and sleepy. I like to chat with my parents during this time and get to know them. I really like to think of them as family because I love and appreciate my clients so much! Kristen mentioned she worked for the State at the library in Little Rock. I could tell she was passionate about books, then we bonded over our shared loved of Harry Potter. I proudly claim to be a Gryffindor. 🙂 Her and Mac also said they know Kevin Delaney! If you don’t know him, he is the super cool scientist who works for the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock and makes regular appearances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to do fun experiments. How cool!

Maren gave me so many sweet, sleepy smiles. Some of my favorite photos ever are from her session! Enjoy looking at this cuteness!
