Remember How
Little They Were

Capturing your baby’s squishy details. The way they look in their first days, they will never look like again. The baby hairs on their arms, the sleepy smiles, the chubby cheeks, their flexible bodies, still craving being back inside momma’s womb.

When should I book my session?

I recommend booking in advance as session availability is limited and my calendar fills up quickly. The sooner the better! It is best to inquire about scheduling a newborn or maternity session at the beginning of your second trimester. I do offer last minute if available, so please do not hesitate to contact me with the date inquiries!

How do I pay for a session?

Please refer to the investment page for information on session pricing. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve a date on my calendar. I currently accept cash, check, and Credit Cards.

What if a member of my family is sick?

Sick babies and parents are not allowed in the studio. This is extremely important due to babies who are just days old who come into my studio frequently. If you must cancel an appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.

Do you offer in-home lifestyle sessions?

Yes! In addition to posed, studio, newborn sessions, I offer in home, lifestyle sessions. This is different than a studio session in that it is more relaxed and less posed capturing your baby’s details in your own home.

Do you provide a print release?

With my digital collections, yes! These sessions include a print release for the high-resolution digital images. Clients are able to print as many copies as they want, wherever they want!

What print products do you offer?

Whitney D Photography offers both tabletop and wall prints, canvases, albums, and custom birth announcements.

How long does it take to receive my images?

Typically I have images ready for your viewing and ordering session within 5 days, sometimes sooner! Once you place your order, your images and products will be ready within 2 weeks. So that’s less than three weeks from the time of your session to when you have your finished images and prints.

Are you insured?

Do you archive images?

Please back up your images as soon as you receive them. You can never have too many copies of your digital files for safekeeping. Things can happen to your computer, so I recommend saving them on both a hard drive and a cloud service. All images are archived for 12 months. While it's not guaranteed that they are still available, recovery of images past 12 months will be subject to an additional fee.

Do you charge tax?

Sales tax in the amount of 8.75% is applicable for all sessions and orders.

All images are the property Whitney D. Photography and are copyright protected. Please note that it is illegal to scan prints, right-click or screenshot images featured on the website or the blog, sell or alter images received in digital or print format.

This session includes the use of all my props, wraps, headbands, blankets… the list goes on! I have a large variety of things to use for your sweet newborn’s session. These sessions are typically between 2 and 3 hours depending on the temperament of your baby. Not all of that time is spent photographing though, we take lots of breaks for soothing and feeding your baby to make sure they are nice and sleepy. This session also includes family and sibling photos, at no additional fee.

Session Fees are due at time of booking.

The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer and all that is required to run a successful studio. These fees do not include any prints or digitals - they are for the session only. Product and Digital Collections start at $275.
