I’ve known Katie for a long time. We go way back to our Flag line days in band in high school. I was SO happy when I heard that she and Matt would be welcoming Jade to their family. This precious baby girl is lucky to have such sweet people for her parents.
I always ask my moms if there are certain colors they want to incorporate. Katie mentioned that Jade’s room is decorated in navy and pink and she really liked that combination. Peonies are an element in her room as well so I wanted to be sure to incorporate those for her. She also likes lace and jewel tones. Whether moms give me just a little information or a lot, I love to customize their newborn session for them.
Jade did so great for her session. She slept so well! At one point she gave me the biggest smile! It is definitely one of my all time favorite newborn photos. 🙂 Then she opened up those little eyes and gave the sweetest expressions. Then she just went right back to sleep.
